media centre remote control?

helloe people,first post so not sure where to put this one.

ive only just discovered Media Portal after searching the net looking at MS Media Centre packages.
just one quick question,does the microsoft remote control and infra-red controller work with Media Portal?

Yes it does, seamless! I have used the MCE control to Media Portal for 2 years now. Media Portal has an inbuilt support for this control and therefore it's also very easy to install!

thats great,going to get a remote control so.
great software,been having a quick mess around with it,just gotta get a proper computer for hooking up to my new 37"!!

Make sure you get the european version with the four coloured buttons down the bottom. Search the forums to see just how useful the extra buttons are...

cool thanks guys,the european model it is so,living in ireland so a non-european version would be pretty useless.
