level20peon MP Donator Join Date: Jan 2007 Age: 26 Posts: 962 Thanks: 13 Thanked 37 Times in 33 Posts Country: My System	PLEASE EXCLUDE Visual C++ Redist from Installer Hey guys, I recommend you to exclude the provided Visual C++ Redistributable from MediaPortal Installation since it a) is NOT up to date (This one is the latest 2005 Package) b) causes trouble during installation of components which need to be registered (I just encountered the impossibility to register DVBsub2.ax because of the wrong VCR package) Suggestion: Provide a link or automatically open the Microsoft download site during installation. This shouldn't be necessary on the other hand... you could provide this information on the download site as well (besides ".NET required...").
