TV Card[/b]: Technotrend budget S2-3200(BDA)

I am using this card with MP and have the following issues - none of which occur with the technotrend supplied BDA-APP. (all of this is for Astra 28.2E)

1. Autotune misses many stations. e.g. BBC HD,BBC 4,etc
2. If I manually add BBC HD as a station,I get sound but no video

The option for setting the H.264 codec in MP setup for television is grayed out - is this telling me something I should know?

However, it is possible to set the H.264 codec in MP itself. At the moment I am trying CoreAVC professional, but I still do not get any video with BBC HD. Most other channels work OK. Including non HD ones that I enter manually.

Greatful for any ideas!

I think the H.264 option becomes available when you use the TV server.

I'd come round to that conclusion this weekend and did the install with the latest snapshots all round. Got the HDTV stations and the key issues seem to have been addressed. Now have a few more, but need to spend some more time with it before I ask any more silly questions.

I'm still finding out how to configure & drive media portal, but on balance I'm quite impressed and want to persist with it
