Default 14:9 Zoom Mode no more available

With all the SVN and MyTV 0.2 and TVEngine0.3 I can't get the 14:9 zoom mode. If I select it the screen is the same than normal infact the setting goes in normal mode.
The 14:9 mode is important for some kind of TV programs like sport or Quiz show where on the top or on the bottom of the screen there is some information to read. In a 16:9 TV/Monitor the normal mode is to small and the zoom mode is too big so 14:9 zoom mode is very important.
How to get it again?
Is there anybody that can use this mode without problems?

Just to avoid confusion as this is posted in the TVE2 part of the forum, does this effect any version of MP.

Just reread your post, apologies you did mean ALL.

Could be the option for 14:9 is disabled in MPConfiguration\TV.

Works for me, used a recording from yesterday that requires 14:9 and also effecting Live TV now.

I can confirm this.

It is not disabled thugh, if i go to Configuration/TV inside MP and set the aspect there i have 14:9 when returning to My TV. If you change the aspect when watching TV you can't set it back to 14:9.

I'm using the TVEngine03 with MyTV02 and no more classic MP since 2 months and from the begin I have this problem. I haven't tried to go back to classic MP.
The 14:9 zoom option in MPCOnfiguration TV-Options is enabled. Was the first thing I checked...

Exactly the same for me. If I set as default 14:9 i get 14:9 when I start TV but after a aspect ratio change I can't get 14:9 again.

I'm using today's svn 13260 for testing.

Find channel transmitting with black bars to left and right of live TV.

press i button twice to get to menu with change aspect ratio.

Select and scroll to 14:9 and picture stretches towards the sides (but still leaves black bars aprox half there original width).

For us in the uk, it is totally dependant on the transmission format, for me to notice any effect..

Have tried this fullscreen and windowed and same effect, outputting to a 16:9 HDTV.

Might be worthwhile adding a mediaportal log for this, to see if 14:9 is switching for yourselves.

here in Italy a lot of TV is always in 4:3 but since 14:9 is a good way to have less black stripes on the sides loosing a small ammount of image on the top and the bottom, this mode is very usefull. Usually I use zoom mode also for the 4:3 signals on my 16:9 tv but for example during a football match when on the top there is the score and the elapsed time, if I use Zoom i lose completely the informations so I prefer 14:9. The difference between zoom normal original and 14:9 should be evident...
When I select 14:9 I get normal mode.... is the same for you Paranoid Delusion?

I get the first aspect ratio i change to after 14:9.

So if i had 14:9 to start with (14:9 selected in MP setup as first choice) Entering My TV i first select Wide then Normal and go back to selecting 14:9 i get Wide.

Regards
Duke
