Hi all,

I have just taken the plunge and installed Medial Portal instead of MCE on my media machine and I am having a few teething problems (The install is totally clean and I haven't even ran the MCE setup wizard).

I am connecting my NTL set top box via composite in to the PVR-250 and I have configured it so I have video/audio in without a problem but how do I set it up so I can change the STB channels within MP? It looks like I need to add every channel one by one but I added a couple and it doesn't seem to try and change them via the IR transmitter (I presumed it would due to native MCE support).

Is there a quick way to download the channel information for an STB?

P.s I presume I do this part first as I can then download the TV guide using the channels I have setup (looking at webEPG at the minute).
