Country: | Yeap, I installed the MCE encoder and rebooted... gonna post that log now. Its posted under "Event". I think its no longer in your original version, as I tried to adapt parts of it to my card, since it wasnt working... Last edited by eventone; 2007-07-27 at 00:18. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Country: | It worked!!! ![]() I had to change a few settings, namely the chip name (mine's the 713x and not the 7134) and one of the pins to get it recognized, but for the first time in MONTHS I was able to use my tv card with mediaportal!!! I'm so happy! weeee! The image freezes if I try to use timeshift or record tv, but its working for the first time! Thank you so much! These were the settings I used: <capturecard commercialname="MSI TV@nywhere Plus MainConcept" capturename="Philips Cap713x Video Capture" devid="ven_1131&dev_7133&subsys_62311462&a mp;rev_d1"> <capabilities tv="true" radio="true" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="false"/> <tv> <interface cat="mux" video="" audio="" mpeg2="0"/> <filters> <filter cat="tvtuner" name="Philips Cap713x TVTuner Silicon" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="tvaudio" name="Philips Cap713x TVAudio" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="crossbar" name="Philips Cap713x Crossbar" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="capture" name="Philips Cap713x Video Capture" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="mux" name="MainConcept (MCE) MPEG Encoder" checkdevice="false"/> </filters> <connections> <connection sourcefilter="tvtuner" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="crossbar" sinkpin="%tvtuner%"/> <connection sourcefilter="tvtuner" sourcepin="1" sinkfilter="tvaudio" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="tvaudio" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="crossbar" sinkpin="%audiotuner%"/> <connection sourcefilter="crossbar" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="crossbar" sourcepin="1" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="1"/> <connection sourcefilter="capture" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="mux" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="capture" sourcepin="3" sinkfilter="mux" sinkpin="1"/> </connections> </tv> </capturecard> |

Country: | Now that I have tv working, i have another problem... no sound... This card uses the line-in feature to get the sound into the soundcard. I was finally able to make a cable to connect that to the internal aux port and it works just fine in MSI's own program. How do I tell MediaPortal to get the sound from there? |
