I look at the logs and something funky shows up 007-01-31 22:46:40.890625 [Info.][7]: planescene: PresentSurface() frame:0 enabled:True allowed:False 720x540 2007-01-31 22:46:40.906250 [Info.][7]: planescene: PresentSurface() frame:1 enabled:True allowed:False 720x540 2007-01-31 22:46:40.906250 [Info.][MPMain]: VMR9Helper: repaint->playing 2 I have set my system resolution to 720X480 (NTSC) right? so is this the problem? and can I fix it. On a different issue, isn't s-video supposed to have higher resolution than stand NTSC broadcast resolution??? Thanks, -Rui PS: other than this problem, 0.2.2 has been a great improvement pps: for those looking for a cheap encoder card the ADS tech TV deluxe is not too bad...a bit touchy and getting the right image quality can be a pain. |

Country: | Hi, Not that anyone here has bothered to reply - forums for support are a hit or miss affair. Some forums there are people who reply, others like this one....it can take months. Anyway enough with my ranting. There is something screwed up with the video playback, and when record and watching at the same it acts like it is playing 2 video streams at the same time and it doubles the processor load leading to the stuttering. My guess is that it is trying to play the video that is being recorded at the same time as it plays the video stream coming from the video capture board. My work around is, I hit the stop key (I forget which key on the keyboard) on my remote and it stops the video playback and it just plays the live video stream and the stuttering stops. -Rui |

Country: | Hi ruister, I'm sorry I can't be the calvary here. That error message means the renderer is struggling to keep up. Some people just get stuttering and we can't explain it. We also can't really help if you don't attach the full logs. So, please cause the condition, note the time you start to see the stuttering, and let it go for at least a couple of minutes. Please see my post http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/tv...264#post129264 for possible stuttering solutions and troubleshooting. The big thing to check here is the total CPU. I'll let you know if I see something in your logs. Also, try the latest svn. There have been updates to that area of the code, and there will continue to be. Good luck. |
