Country: | TV-Server Version: latest SVN MediaPortal Version: latest SVN MediaPortal Skin: Blue Two wide Windows Version: XP Pro CPU Type: Athlon AM2 3600+ HDD: 250GB WD Memory: 1024MB generic Motherboard: ASUS M2A-VM Motherboard Chipset: AMD690G Motherboard Bios: Video Card: AMD/ATI x1250 Video Card Driver: Latest catalyst Sound Card: Onboard AC97 Sound Card AC3: Onboard Sound Card Driver: 1. TV Card: Twinhan 102G 1. TV Card Type: 1. TV Card Driver: Latest MPEG2 Video Codec: MPV MPEG2 Audio Codec: MPA Satelite/CableTV Provider: HTPC Case: Cooling: Power Supply: 300W Remote: TV: TV - HTPC Connection: VGA I can preview everything fine in TVServer without issue, even scrambled. However, when I start MP and go to MyTV all I get is a blank blue screen . . .. . no picture, no guide, no menu items on the left side . .. nada. I've tried messing around with codecs, etc. but can't seem to get anything but blue? Am I missing something obvious? Anyone else experience this? Country: | are you using single seat? If in multi seat could be a firewall issue... If single seat, make sure the plug in is installed and the settings are correct. Check MP config in the windows plugin for the config of the TV server plugin (MyTV) Also, try changing between recording TS and MPG format (use the control in TVServer setup) Can't offer much more at the moment, but if you post your mp logs that may help. BTW, welcome to MP Jeff ![]() Edit - OOps, just noticed in your thread that even the guide doesn't work. Have you also set the option in MSSQL for named pipes and set the user password. |

Country: | Right now I'm just single seat. I uninstalled and reinstalled the client plugin several times (with each version of TVE3). I'll play around with the TS/MPG settings when I can get back to my system in a few days . . . . but I can't see how that would stop the buttons on the left side from showing, etc. I'll post logs when I figure out how to find them! ![]() Cheers! |

| Yeah, I am in the same position, I have also noticed that when you look on the server at streams, it's not showing any clients at all, to me it looks like a port issue, but where do you check that in Media Portal? what does the server listen on? Mike |
