Watch current recording?

Hi there. Just a quick question - I'm probably missing something obvious here. Is it possible to watch the current recording before the programme has finished? For example, if I scheduled a recording of a football match from 7am - 9am, then decide to start watching it at 8am. I realise I can probably use timeshift for this, but then I'd have to manually rewind to the start, thus seeing the score! As far as I can tell, programmes don't appear under "Recorded" until they're finished. One workaround I've found is to minimise MP, then use VLC to open the file corresponding to the recording directly. But it's not a particularly elegant solution.

If you use the miniEPG it will take you to the live point of the recording only and manual timeshift is required.

If you go back to the main tv guide (the one that fills the entire screen) and select the program, a question should pop up asking if you wan to watch from start of recording or live point.
