I have the mentioned card that has 2 x Digital tuners and 2 x analogue tuners, I am using a single seat installation of the TV server and I have my card working fine with digital tv and FM radio. I have just got round to attempting to setup my composite inputs for connection of cameras and other gear for recording only I cannot get it to work. I have tried adding SVHS/VHS channels on the analogue cards but when I try and preview one of the channels I just get a "Preview Failed/Unknown Error". When I go into MP and select the composite channel I get "timeshift failed" error and nothing on screen. Using the very basic hypermedia software I can easily view the input. Now I have read some notes about having to have a software encoder installed and there was an MCE encoder on the CD that I have installed in addition to the BDA drivers for the card but there is still no go. Are there any extra steps I have missed or an easy way to do this or figure out if this is possible. I just don't know if it is possible, but really hope it is as it's the last link I need. |
