BTW: What is limiting the number of concurrently recordable shows? Is it that the Alphacrypt cannot decode more than 2 services?

I mean, would it be possible to record all channels on the transponder?

Okay....I use the Alpacrypt CAM. Then I should be able to record ALL encrypted streams in a frequency.

Hmmm..Interesting. Gonna try right now.

Edit: Nope....Doesn't work. I can only watch/record 2 streams concurrently.

Is it an MP limitation?

well, what have you configured inside TV-Server as limit?
and have you tried to record only channels which are on the same transponder?

"doesnt work" is not conclusive

This MP stuff is getting better and better.

Where would I specify that?

Edit: FOUND! I've set the max to 14.

Edit 2: Truly amazing...I can record up to 29 shows concurrently, LOL!

Hello lucky B's,

This is really anoying to watch people being able to record even 29 shows concurrently....
I can t even get 1 channel-switch working properly and getting that blasted message
"Unable to start timeshifting - Channel is scrambled"

Still i got the same hardware as you guys do (FloppyDTV/Alphacrypt Classic 3.12/Casema Payed abo).
Can someone help me please?

Greatings, Erwin

Edit Solved it! It was the CAM settings that did force errors etc. I altered the settings after reading http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/ch...yDTV+Scrambled ! My settings are a bit diffrent but it works like a charm :-)

CA-Mode : Multi/Static (watch Multi channels simultaniously?)
Smartcard Messages : OFF
Force Reading Original PMT : Auto
CA-PMT delete time : 0 sec.
