Country: | Having the same issues with a NOVA-S-PLUS pointing at the same dish. I have tried the same Diseqc settings as Cypsteel with no luck. I have also tried a 22khz switch, also no luck. |

| Portal Member | I have same dish but pointing to 61.5, 72 and 77 without changing the transponders frequencies to vertical, etc.. I can read only about 3 transponders.. on 61.5.. using twinhand 1020p, using NA Bandstaked Ku-Hi.... etc. So I think is not a nova problem, nor media portal problem...I think it's related to the internal switch on the 1000.4 and/or power insertion to the dish. I have a old pansat and have same problem scanning.. In any case of transponders polarity conversion....all vertical need to be found as default setting, and is not the case... So, first we need to get all vertical TP working and properly scanned.. ![]() |

Country: | On 119, I have all horizontal and vertical working. You have to run them through the calculation to convert the horizontal to vertical. For example, my list of transponders on 119 is: [SATTYPE] 1=2410 2=Echostar 7, DirecTV 7S & Anik F3 [DVB] 0=20 1=12224,V,20000,56 2=12253,V,20000,56 3=12282,V,20000,56 4=12311,V,20000,56 5=12341,V,20000,56 6=12370,V,20000,78 7=12399,V,20000,56 8=12457,V,20000,56 9=12486,V,20000,34 10=12516,V,20000,56 11=13099,V,20000,56 12=13128,V,20000,56 13=13157,V,20000,56 14=13186,V,20000,56 15=13216,V,20000,56 16=13245,V,20000,56 17=13274,V,20000,56 18=13303,V,20000,56 19=13332,V,20000,56 20=13361,V,20000,56 Notice the horizontals have been converted to verticals by using: 25600 - Horizontal Freq = Vertical Freq THIS WORKS PERFECTLY ON LNB1. I get all channels with the above settings. I have done this same thing to my LNB2 pointed at 110 and I can only get about 3 transponders in MediaPortal. Both LNB's work fine in DVB Dream and MyTheatre... The weird thing is that I only get the "spot" transponders and none of the conus transponders. I think this bit of information is the key to the answer. I think there is an answer there, we just need to find it. Last edited by Cypsteel; 2009-01-02 at 05:39.. |
