It's a bit like watching PAL content while running at 60Hz. It's really strange since the only difference is the TT driver, if I downgrade the drivers the picture pans smooth again. Overall picture quality also looks crappier. Same behaviour with all codecs I've tried(Nvidia, PDVD, MPV, Descaler). I've double checked that I'm running at 50Hz, my LCD TV has a button which shows the current signal it gets fed so I'm pretty certain of this. Any clues? Has anyone got the last 4.X drivers that were released? TechnoTrend seem to have removed them from their website. Regards, Martin |

| Using a different driver wont affect the picture quality, it's just not possible as the DVB card will always stream the data as it is sent by the broadcaster. Only thing that could alter the picture quality is dropped data and that should be visible as a stuttering or corrupted blocks.

Managed to solve the problem, have no clue why though. Somehow the Elecard demuxer had been installed on the PC(I suspect ProgDVB). After deregistering the filter all is ok, strange that the 4.X drivers aren't affected. | |
