There’s one thing that still tortures me.

Whenever the TVServer is started (after reboot or resuming from hibernation) I almost always (70%) can’t tune to the very first channel (FTA or scrambled).
So, I have to switch to any FTA-channel and then come back:

TVServer starts > scrambled channel 1 > error > FTA channel 1 > OK > scrambled channel 1 > OK
or
TVServer starts > FTA channel 1 > error > FTA channel 2 > OK > FTA channel 1 > OK.

It’s only boring when I use MyTV, as I can switch to another channel.

But if I schedule my TVServer to wake up from hibernation and to make a record, I may loose program (actually I lost 10 this week).

Last night was a night of long logs.
I had 3 programs scheduled.
TVServer woke up my PC, recorded the first program.
But when it tried to make the same with the second and the third errors occurred.
I saw the logs – server spent 3 hours tying to record programs every 15 seconds.

So, my questions are:
- Can a user limit the number of retries in TV-console using a checkbox “stop recording after [number] unsuccessful retry”?
- Is it possible to make another checkbox “when TVServer starts automatically start timeshifting on channel [number]”.

I’m not sure, if I’m right.
Please, correct me:
- if PC is woken up by a the scheduler, TVServer will start timeshifting of the channel [number], then stop timeshifting, tune to the programmed channel and start recording,
- if a user opens MyTV he sees no picture, although timeshifting is in progress, if he chooses the channel needed, TVServer will stop timeshifting, tune to the right channel and the user will see the channel.

I tried DVBViewer Pro and saw no errors described.
I tried BDA but MP doesn’t support Diseqc with them (DVBViewer Pro does).
