Question Using analog input on DVB-S card

I have a Hauppauge Nova-S Plus DVB-S Card.

With the recent edition of the TVServer TVE3-EPG: Grab EPG Only Card Mapping, it means I can use the DVB-S card to grab EPG data, while using an external STB to watch TV input through an analog card.

The hauppauge card allows me to watch video input through its S-video connector - if I were to use video editing software in windows.

In TV-Setup, it is not possible to map an analog channel to the DVB-S card. I'll create a new channel, define its analog settings(SVHS#1), but it does not appear available in the mapping options.

It would be great to get this working, so that people who wanted to grab EPG data from the DVB-S card can do so, while at the same time using it to watch the feeds from the STB controlled with an IR Blaster.

As it stands right now, you'd need two cards;
1- a tv card (analog) just for the video input
2- a dvb-s card for the epg data.

Is there something I am missing to finish this setup, or perhaps the devs might look into making this possible.

Many thanks.
