1.8.0 - After watching something to completion, nothing works but the top bar (1 Viewer)

I don't use 'Action' menu
Just stay on 'Report a bug to Team MediaPortal' and then do proceed

it will start MP as usual but with default plugins and now you can do what you want and reproduce your issue when you will quit MP or eventually kill it, log will be generated.

Ahhh! ok.
After watching some other videos, it may be specific to the Moving Pictures plugin (which is not default, and therefore won't start with the watchdog right?).
I need to do some more testing this week and I will report back.

Yep that's possible try to setup a share with myvideo to see if the pb occurs
After that, you can use watchdog with other options that enable specific plugins

I have the same problem. After using "TVseries" plugin to watch series episodes the GUI freezes when the episode ends. I can still hear the sounds when pressing buttons on the remote. Using a keyboard with a mouse I can still access the top toolbar,

You have too many plugins not compatible etc.
You need to try with all default MP (watchdog + first option)
Try to delete/uninstall all non plugins compatible and update TVS and co

ok I can now confirm that the problem is with the Moving Pictures plugin in conjunction with the latest MP (Media Portal) release. I have not updated Moving Pictures, only MP to v1.8.0.

This problem does NOT occur with videos or MyTVSeries for me.

Is it possible it has something to do with the rating dialogue for moving pictures? It doesn't even pop up, but it used to before 1.8.0.

I have 1.7.2.1582, seems to be the latest version, I'll ask over there too in the meantime.

It happened to me not only in moving pictures but also in the normal videos section. Same problem. (I have Movpic 1.7.3 and there is still issues)
