I've released a new version with a fix for iOS8 and other minor improvements.

To enable iOS8 support you need to select 'Enable iOS8 workaround' from the plugin config. It should be fully backwards compatible but will cause MediaPortal to claim that mirroring is supported though it isn't. The first time you connect your device from the control centre you may need to quickly turn mirroring off to avoid the client disconnecting.

Hi. Unfortunately videos only Show on my iPhone while Audio comes from the TV.
Are there any further steps to do? Fotos still work like before the update.

Which iOS version are you using? If iOS 8 have you enabled the workaround in config?

Hi, i am using an iPhone 5 with iOS 8.0.2 And i have activated your Workaround.

Can you give the attached build a try, its a bit of a shot in the dark though.

• Navigate to [Program Files]\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\process\
• Make a backup of existing AirPlayer.dll
• Replace with AirPlayer.dll in attached zip
• Restart your iPhone

Hi, the only Change is, that now MePo stays in Home And Shows the Logo of the Video down left. With YouTube App AirPlayet now says " unable to Play Video" on MePo Screen. Before this Version YouTube App Crashed.

I rebootet MePo ans iPhone and i disabled and reenabled iOS 8 Workaround. Didnt help.

Edit: i just found the following Big.
I Forgot to change AirPlay back to my iPhone. Although i disabled Mirroring, AirPlayer switched to a Black Screen with Audio of the Game i started. Maybe this is a clue.

The YouTube app no longer works (hasn't for a while now) because it doesn't send a usable url, can you try the YouTube site from Safari instead?

Can you also set MP's log level to debug (Config->General->Log verbosity) and post your AirPlay.log after a failed attempt.

Hi,.
so i just did some tests with log Level debug:

1. i started the iPhone Videos App and played a movie. I let it Play for about a Minute.
Audio came out of the TV while Video played on the iPhone Screen.

2. Then i started the YouTube App, and got the "Unable to Play Video" on TV.

3. I opened the YouTube Website in Safari and played a Video.
This one worked correct. Audio and Video played on TV.

The corresponding log is attached.
