Thanks for your plugin, just tried it out today.

Mediaporal 1.1
Samsung ua60h6400 LCD TV 1080P 3D Smart TV 2014 Model Series 6
Onboard Intel HD Graphics 2000 -> HDMI -> Samsung TV
Samsung TV connected via WiFi on same network HTPC 192.168.0.2 TV 192.168.0.6

I get the error "connect failed"
I allowed firewall access via popup window

What should I do next to trouble shoot?
Does the samsung TV get controlled via wifi API?[DOUBLEPOST=1420610099][/DOUBLEPOST]

log file attached from configuration. The configuration-error.log is empty, and I don't see anything interesting in this but have attached it anyways.

Marcus, i installed the latest version without core.dll and the suspend option for my LG2011 works lovely, thanks man!

I have the same issue, @Marcus Venturi is looking into it, something to do with change in protocol on newer samsung TVs

Thanks. Yes i had a look in the thread. I also noted that the latest android app is for 2014+ models suggesting perhaps a different api or added functionality.

So in I'm assuming the tv is controlled via the network rather than via hdmi?

@kiwijunglist : As @tony3ridge already said, they changed the protocol for their new TVs. I have to find out how the new stuff works. Your assumption is right, it is controlled over Network.

@wouter1971 : I can reproduce your problem. Seems to happen for movies with black bars.

Marcus, is that a Auto3D issue or a viewmodeswitcher issue?

Marcus, there is een problem with the suspend option. If the TV is off during the Auto3D suspend TV action Mediaportal will resume in a freeze state and i cannot get in control besides a kill MP process from taskmanager.

Log attached with 2 suspend actions in it.
