The skin uses the great patch system written by the StreamedMP team. This allows you to update the skin while mediaportal is running.
If an update is available a small notification icon will be visible on top of the BasicHome.

I see that InfoService is officially supported, but why does it still look like the screenshot in the attachment?

edit: I fixed it by removing all facadeview visibile conditions, like this one:

to:

<visible>Control.IsVisible(50)</visible>

Thumbs are also not being displayed. Maybe there are more things missing, but I don't know them yet
