    @Tuomaa

Many thanks for the new version. My AVR always changed the Input to TV/AUDIO when it comes back from Standby. I´ve thought that my Samsung TV change Input from the AVR and Samsung said that is a "feature" of the TV and can´t be changed.
With the new Version from cecremote and the override feature, the AVR stays where it should be.

Also many thanks to megahorst for hunting the Problem down.

Yes, it will turn on TV and AVR when the client was started with WOL. I have tested if it is possible to change this together with Toumaa. But he did not find a solution. The problem is that windows rates the WOL as a user triggered command, not as a automated task.
Another thing is an automated start for a recording for example. In this case the TV and the AVR stays off.

ist WOL triggered as a PCI wake up or something? isnt there any fix for this problem? of workaround?

    The answer is here:
Here is the log with extensive logging=on and my mediaportal.xml. Perhaps I have configured it not correctly ...

What you can see in the log:
    1. fresh start of MePo
    2. going to music section and try fast scrolling. It does not work
    3. switch of TV
    4. htpc goes to suspend
    5. WOL
    6. htpc resumes
    7. TV is switched on
    8. exit MePo
When the htpc wakes up for a recording the TV stays of. (not visible in the log, but tested)

Thanks for the logs. Your config is correct, but unfortunately it seems that WOL triggers the same events as any user input:
    Code:
     [Info.][MPMain(1)]: Main: WM_POWERBROADCAST: 7
If this is ignored, TV wont be switched on at all when resuming from sleep.

is that for sure, in wich log file is it logged?

can you switchoff the TV and AVR manually when you do a WOL?
    trough command line?

can i also check the powerstatus from commandline?

in mediaportal.log. It will not switch on your TV and AMP when Mediaportal is not running.

It depends what you have configured. In my case my htpc goes to standby when I switch of my TV and Mediaportal is running..

If I want to use the USB remote to control the system and the cec plugin only to switch the tv on and off
    - do I then need the cec adapter anyway?
