*Finished* The skin is based on graphics from Harley's "xmas 2006" and some grapichs + (partially modified) XML's from Indigo/Monochrome. Some screenshots (more in post below): ... just love that changing background, Harley The skin is for RC4 (after I altered the references.xml ) Below you can find two xml's for 12-line TVGuide (I use 8, so thats what is the zip-file, as I (re)made this skin for my family - but thought I'd share).
That looks nice I don't think you can have enough Xmas modded skins in my eyes. So do you think there will be something finished for Xmas??? Really helps to get you in the Xmas spirit when there are nice Xmas skins on my 50" plasma, and christmas tunes playing. As you can tell I love Xmas, it is a great time with the children and my partner M. Good luck with this Kev
OK, so here's what I've got so far. The skin is fully functional and supports most (all?) plugins due to Psycho Reptile's excellent work. Todo: - Rework TVSeries - Rework Moving pictures - Rework topbar - Some tweaks If you fin something, then please let me now... or even better; post better solutions and/or bug fixes . Most gfx is done by Harley and some PR (in addition to most xml's) Some screenies: I did this because the family-members still talk about the original skin from 2006. One major difference is that this is for 16:9 (the original was for 4:3). --- Old version removed ---
It does need some work, but I am using it with no problems here (@ "family" HTPC"). I'll try to find some time to eliminate minor flaws, like some buttons etc. As I said: Please report if you find any bugs - or try to find a solution to 'em, and post it here.
Done some tweaking to the TVOSD, dialog, previewbackground +++, and the skin looks better now. Still have to change some fontcolours and the damned buttons (topbar, tvosd, dialogue etc.), but I'll upload whatever I got alter today or tomorrow. IOW, you should wait for next release before DL-ing if you don't mind reinstalling. (IMO the skin looks better on my TV than the screenies taken from monitor in wondow mode - not sure why. Kids love it )
