switching to program number 6 doesn't work on my htpc with mp 1.9.0. this occured already in many earlier versions.

here are my channels:
1 = ard
2 = zdf
3 = swr
4 = rtl
5 = rtl2
6 = sat1
7 = pro7
8 = kabel1
9 = vox
...

if i watch any channel and press "6" nothing happens. i think this 6 is some how ignored by mp. if i press "7" mp switches to my programm number 6 (sat1).

did someone else notice this behavior?

1. Is "select channel by index" ticked or not ticked?

yes, "select channel by index" is ticked.

in my channel group the sequence of the channels is exactly like in my first post.

i noticed this behavior already in earlier versions of mp. can you reproduce that?

i switch in tv fullscreen.
