    Just to clarifying: you keep running console application and let computer to sleep. Nothing except 'Press [ENTER] to finish.' was in the console window.

    And also try this. Run console application and in command prompt (with admin privileges) run command 'powercfg -waketimers'. It should list at least console application timer.

    Try attached testing console application. It does same, but after executing it writes some number. I hope that it will be 0. But for sure.

    Everything seems to be correct. Anyway, what is the output of 'powercfg -A' command? It should list all available sleep modes.

    I prepared native testing application, maybe is there problem with managed code. Run SleepTestCpp.exe and when 'Press [ENTER] to finish or wait for signaled state.' is written you can sleep computer. After 5 minutes it should wake up - you can check that wake timer is set with 'powercfg -waketimers' command.

    I have not started the program. He wrote that my file is missing MSVCR100D.dll.
