Hey

-
I'm having problem with my tuner "DVBSky T680C - DVBT2/C USB - CI"
unencrypted channels working just fine.
Encrypted working sometimes, but then changing channel - TVServer stops working!

-
I have tryed MediaPortal 2, with TVE3.5 (Slim TV) - Working Just fine
- and downloaded / compiled MediaPortal 2 source - Working Just fine

BUT; MP2 missing af lot of features

- Recording only working from EGP menu
- Start recording from "record button" nothing happens
- Not abble to stop recording, only delete recording is available
- Can't see it is recording

    Hello

Encrypted working sometimes, but then changing channel - TVServer stops working!
This is typical, and it is exactly why the wiki states that TV Server does not support the CI feature for DVBSky tuners:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...V_Setup/0_TV_Card_Features#Unsupported_Tuners

with TVE3.5 (Slim TV) - Working Just fine
Yes, this is also expected. TVE 3.5 contains code to support DVBSky tuners fully.

    Which is MP1 and TVE3.5,
Please be aware there is no official build of MP1 + TVE 3.5. That means there will not be much support for you.

Not working, I'm getting wrong version of Windows the running "Configuration.exe"
Let me guess: you're using Windows XP or Windows Server?
In most cases you can ignore the warning. It just means "the team does not commit to provide support to you".

And can't register TVService as a service
I'm not able to help with this without more information.

    Regards,
    mm

I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro (fully updated)

Ahhh, I see... because you've built TVE 3.5 master, which is based on MP 1.3, which was released way before W8 was available.
    Still, ignore this.

It looks like you are specifying a folder path... but with InstallUtil you have to specify an assembly (ie. TvService.exe).

A little difficult, the program closes when I click ok ;)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\TV-server-test>InstallUtil.exe "TvService.exe"
    or
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\TV-server-test>InstallUtil.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\TV-server-test>TvService.exe"

Result; the exact same error :(

Second command contains an error: ">TvService.exe" instead of "\TvService.exe".

If you want to install TvService, you must make sure you have uninstalled TVE3... and you must start the command prompt with admin privileges (right click => run as admin).
