Dynamic Refresh Rate Changer, makes my display 1 cm to big all way around? (1 Viewer)

So i have enabeld "Dynamic Refresh Rate Changer" to get better frame rates, and playback.. Works..

But, my screen gets about 1 cm when i start to play video.

So when i start my computer, the screen fits
When i start MePo the screen fits.
When i start a video the screen gets 1 cm to big..
when i stop video or mepo, return to desktop, the scren is still 1 cm to big..

Funny i cant for the life of me not find out why or how to stop it

Do you have checked the Overscan option in Catalyst Control Center for ALL your refreshrates?

Check the 'Scaling Options' in ATi Catalist Control Center (You can find those under 'My Digital Flat-Panels') for all possible refreshrates.

First select a Refresh Rate (i assume 23 and/or 24Hz in your case) and then adjust the Scaling Options so the image is displayed full screen.

Jeps that works, perfect.. Thanks a lot, i wonder why one have to do them all, i thought by making one fit, they all fit.. Done set them all...

Now another question: my tv can handle 75Mhz (frame rate) even on 1080P

Mediaportal default settings for refresh rate changer are not optimal for Blu-ray and NTSC.
So table should be like this, if display can handle all these refresh rates:

I wonder is it not better to have them all at min 60 REFRESH RATE?
the higher the refresh rate the moother playback right?

So changing all refresh rates to 60 or even 75 would be better right???

No, its not better. You should definitely have a refreshrate which matches the FPS from your video source or is a multiple of it else you will get judder (if you press shift+1 you will see that the red line jumps a lot). But some people don't even notice judder so you have to test it.

Example:
PAL TV in general is 25FPS so you can set your TV to 75Hz. (as 3*25=75 )

In this screenshot you see a display @ 60Hz and video got 25 FPS.

PAL material is either 25p or 50i. The interlaced 50i is not suited well for 75Hz as it would have frame repeats 2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 2 instead of 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 like on 50Hz display.

I have 1 issue i dont know how to solve.
When starting MEPO it runs: 1920x1080 @60mhz, smooth navigation.
after watching a video and returning to mepo ist stuck at 1920x1080 @24mhz or what ever the movie mhz was in, it will be stuck there..

Looks like its not returning to 60mhz after watching a video.. how do i fix this issue?

You could enable the default refreshrate (@50hz) plus select force refreshrate change. Works for me
