...... As mentioned, the issue of the internal Mediaportal Dynamic Refresh Rate Changer crashing my Windows 10 O/S wasn't fixed; I just used 12 NOON instead.

    On the DRRC issue...
    I asked you for fresh log files with EVR. You said you wanted to try 12NOON first. Now you have 12NOON working, however we can't do anything further to investigate the DRRC issue unless and until you decide to provide fresh log files as requested.
