Synopsis::

I had to use system restore & had to re-install & set up ffdshow etc., & now when I go to my tv, I get an error: Failed to start timeshifting Unable to create graph. The guide is getting data.
Does anyone know what's causing this?

Check that the recording directory still exists, first of all and that the currently logged in user has access to it.

Maybe this folder was deleted and the system restore didn't re-create it or something along those lines.

Thanks. I'll check that out when I get home.
I've been meaning to update to the latest svn-snapshot, so I'll do that also.

configure TV card: Unable to create graph for this device!

I installed the latest svn & when I go to configure my Hauppauge card in setup, it says:
Unable to create graph for this device!!
I can then map inputs & such, but it will still say the same thing if I go to edit it.
    Any help?

    Hi,
Is this a clean install of MP0.2RC4?
(No old files in the directory from a previous install)

Have you tried to reinstall the drivers for your PVR150MCE (run the Hauppauge cleaner program & then the drivers)?

Have you tried a registry cleaner program like CCleaner for bad entries?

Can you post your mediaportal.log to mp pastebin and the link back here?

    Regards
    Roy

I did a system restore to last Saturday & it's now working. I've updated to the last svn fine, but I have to tweak the settings because the picture is quite blocky. Once I'm done, I'll set a restore point & then install & set up ffdshow.
I've posted my log file from when I was having problems at mp pastebin.
I'll also download CCleaner. It looks like a handy utility to have.

It's a problem with Avisynth. If I uncheck it in FFDShow, I don't get the error.
