I'm connecting to my tv via svideo via a Nvidia FX 5200 and using the pure video codec. I'm getting a "ghost image" bar that scrolls up the screen. When I have a crt monitor connected as well as the svideo to the tv and clone the the display everything is fine. But if I unplug the monitor the "ghost image" bar comes back. I have tried adjusting the resolution/refresh rate but its not helping. Any suggestions....

Sounds like a noise on the s-video cable or a card problem to me.

I found out on another forum that it could be interfeince from the cable for the cable tv. So I unpluged it and sure enough that was it. Anyone know of a filter or something that can be used to prevent this?

you may be able to solve this by just moving the cables a little bit further away from each other.

If not, you may need to get a better quality Svhs cable. Your shielding may be faulty on that one.
