In the interests of full disclosure: I'm not working on hbbTV support now, and I have no future plans either. No access to broadcasts; too much other stuff to do.

Currently here in Bavaria we have 16 hbbtv stations, most are not teleshopping, and there are even a couple of really interesting ones! Very sad that I can't access them on my HTPC, do you know if anyone is looking at it for MP2?

Nobody that I know of.
I am working on server side TV support (TVE 3.5) for both MP1 and MP2, and nobody is doing the server side support for hbbTV.

It is not that I don't want hbbTV support also. I do!
Problem is: hbbTV is a big project, and I am only one person with limited time. Right now I'm also one of the only people working on TV Server. All my time (and more - up until 4 AM last night!) is taken working on TVE 3.5. I cannot give any more than I already am.

If somebody wants this badly enough then they will download the code, install Visual Studio, and start working on it...

negotiate toe coders can look at dvbviewer its the worlds first Software with hbb TV. Dvbviewer and a other company have made a working Plugin/tool. So maybe mediaportal can collaborate with DVB and the company to create hbb for mepo. When i unterstand it right, its a separate tool, this will cost some euros. Maybe mepo can negotiate to him about hbb TV ? Here is the link...

Maybe mepo des can negotiat with Christian Hackbart the Programme of DVB and maybe the Prof. Of FH Freiburg.
