Is DVBSky s950 really supported like it stated in the wiki hardware section?
My setup:
- Win7, x86
- MP 1.7.1
- 2LNBs: Level1AA - 19.2 Astra, Level1AB - 13.0 Hotbird
- Diseqc 1 (4 ports)

I've just upgraded from my old Technotrend tt-1500 to DVBSky S950 PCIe. The card works with DVBSky Player and ProgDVB v. 7.x with no problem.

The MP can't find channels at the channel scan. It get either "no signal" or "nothing find" if the signal here. Sometimes it finds a channel/channels (about 60 from two sattelits!) but it cann't tune to them in the manual control of the setuptv. The card give no response in ProgDVB and DVBSky Player after the MPs channel scan. This can be repaired only with a comp reboot - than the card works again with both programs. It looks like the mp Diseqc switch code makes the problem.

Any suggestions? If i should return this card and buy other DVB-S2 model please tell me what card is really supported with MP - it looks the wiki Hardware section is not reliable source.
[DOUBLEPOST=1403172539][/DOUBLEPOST]And yet another set of logs - from the start of TvService up to the channels scan. This time no signal at all with the same config.

Grrrrr! I don't know who has modified that page. As far as I'm concerned, TVE 3 does not support DiSEqC for DVBSky tuners.
TVE 3.5 (MP2 Native TV) should work.

    Thanx for you rapid answer.
Do you have any plans to support the card in MP1? If not, what DVB-S2 card would you recommend?

My S950 runs with MP 1.7.1.. The only difference is Win 7 x64. BDA Driver is 1.8.403.0 (03.04.2014). Scanning/Tuning on 4 satellite positions with Diseqc 1.0 is no problem here.
I really don't know much about these logs, but maybe your TVService.log says it found a Hauppauge card?:
    [2014-06-19 11:13:29,784] [Log ] [14 ] [INFO ] - Check for Hauppauge
    [2014-06-19 11:13:29,785] [Log ] [14 ] [DEBUG] - Hauppauge: DVB-S card found!
    [2014-06-19 11:13:29,786] [Log ] [14 ] [INFO ] - Hauppauge card detected

Oh, it seems that DVBSky released a new hardware version of the S950. The new driver supports also V3. Do you have V2 or V3?

Edit: I updated to the actual x64 driver 1.8.531.0 (31.05.2014). Scanning and tuning of the S950 V2 seems to work as fine as with the previous driver version.

Maybe there is some information on the card itself or in the product description from your shop. But if you can't find anything, i guess you have V2, too. Unfortunatly there seems to be no information about the differences between V2 and V3 from DVBSky.
