Media Portal and Internet TV Streams (1 Viewer)

Hi I've been using Media Portal as my Back end and Kodi as my front-end for my HTPC system. OTA TV works great! I'm interested in exploring some of the IPTV options, but I'm not sure where to start. I'd like to augment my OTA TV with some internet services like USTVNOW or SlingTV or Filmon TV. For example, it looks like there are Kodi plugins for pulling in USTVNOW streams and Populating guide data from that service. This is nice for live TV, but it would be really great to run this through the MP back-end and be able to record from this source. (I work the overnight shift and really don't get to watch TV at regular times. ) Anyone have any experience with this? It seems like the MP Online Videos plugin may be used for this, but I'm not sure where to start.

Hello

None of the services you mentioned are going to be delivering MPEG 2 transport streams. Therefore they're not directly compatible. The only chance you'd have to integrate them into TV Server would be via something like this:

Note that OnlineVideos is front-end plugin for MediaPortal so it won't be able to help you achieve your goal.
