Feel free to report any issue you have but please follow the following rules to make life easier for us.

Before reporting any issues, please take a look in our tv engine wiki and mantis. Perhaps there is already a solution for your problem, or its already in Mantis.

If you report issues, then please do so in the appropiate forum topic

Please read the installation guide on how to install and setup!

Note you will need the LATEST svn of MediaPortal (not 0.2.1.0)

    Great, let the games start....
I have tried to use Mediaportal from the begining of 2004.
Network TV Client/Server configuration was holding me back from using Mediaportal for years. I will test it tonight (server with 2 x pvr 500 mce + 6TV clients). You will have my test report soon.
I am so excited. This is what I always wanted.....
And now with the first beta released, I know that you are on the right track.

i don't thnk you need to run that tvservice.exe file , thats basically already running in the windows services from what i can see.

on a seperate note, mine all went through fine however i can't seem to connect to it from the clients, i try the server name eg, server and also ip 192.168.0.2
is there any other tricks that are required?

    windows firewall settings?

i found the restart but i suffer with the same 'problems' as Nightmare77... But i keep trying =D it's just to awesome to quit playing with it. There is something continues doing something on my network at 12kb/s and if i stop tv service that goes to zero. So something is happening just can't see it on the client.
