Monochrome 16:10

Hey all monochrome users,

I've just setup my desktop with Monochrome. When doing this I saw lots of minor issues with overlapping text etc. that's because monochrome is not made for my screen resolution (which is 1680x1050, 16:10) so I dug into each problematic XML and cleaned it up (for my screen that is).

Also requires latest tvseries (2.3)

I used mediaportal on my 22" screen. I say used because my laptop that I used is having issues, I think it's dead forever so the warranty people are having a look at it

Did you do the plugin files as well? I use mytvseries and moving pictures.

It's the aMPed supported pluginlist but almost all plugins in there supported by aMPed I got installed and working with monochrome.

TVSeries and moving pictures actually only had really, really minor issues on my system. I did enhance both a bit with videowindows though and some minor overlapping stuff.

Uploaded my 16:10 monochrome version to mediafire, see first post. Indigo will follow soon.
remember this is made for my specific system;
- 16:10 screen ratio
- 1680x1050 resolution
- Basichome / basicmenus (like watchmenu etc) are based upon my system
- Based upon Monochrome 2.6 although compatible with MP 1.0 final (which I use)
- Other specifics I forgot most likely

However when you feel like you have come across something that affects this kinda systems you can always point it out in this thread. If I will pick up on it depends if I can recreate it and it's something I agree with. Skinning for aMPed already is a handful, so please be understanding and patient.

changes (of what I can remember );

- My Lyrics, fixed overlapping issues
- MusicOverlay; remove videowindow so albumart is always shown even when visualization is on (if you do not like this copy paste from original monochrome)
- My Emulators 3.0 works kinda ok
- SysInfo / MySpeedfan and Fanatic monitor all have buttons to switch between the 3
- Youtube.FM 0.3.7 support (I truly love this awesome plugin, looks great!)
- Settings -> general; fixed skin selection issue (MP 1.0 final and SVN build diff)
- RecordedTV; support MP 1.0 instead of MP 1.0 SVN builds
