After resume sometimes MP crashes completly with a windows crash dialog.
Can anyone check the logs why MP is crashing?

Have done a complete fresh install and it seems it is working fine right now.
So I will report back if the problem come back again.

Well, there is nothing wrong in the log. I have personaly tested the bitstreaming after DVD resume, and I can confirm that the LAV audiodecoder shows status 'bistreaming' on the output.

Update from 1.21 to 1.31 or 1.32 - no live TV with MP, recording and playing is working - solved

It's working after some hours search: the Auto3D plugin which I haven't used for years was corrupting the start of the TV live stream from server to MP.
If anyone has a similar problem - disable all old plugins and then enable one after another :-)

@CyberSimian As I have just posted in the MP2 subforum I will stay with MP1 for the time being. Many thanks for all your very informative and detailed responses. I will take your advice and monitor the Scheduled recordings list for the discrepancies you have described.
