When tuning to 'Travel Channel', I end up with a black screen or a message 'Cannot start graph'. Switching to another SD channel does work, switching back to Travel Channel again still does not work (this scenario is trapped in the enclosed log). My video renderer is VMR9.

Graphedit only shows an audio stream. When adding the video stream in Graphedit, it works OK, but MP still won't display.

So far, I have not encountered other channels with the same behaviour.

Hi

Looks to me like your subscription may not include Travel Channel - there are "Pes 0-0-1 fail" entries in your TsReader log which indicates the channel is not decrypted or the stream format is not supported. This could be an MDAPI problem too, and you should know there is no support for MDAPI setups...

All that I can suggest to you is to try and record the channel and see if the recording plays in other software. There is nothing more that I will do to help unless you can prove that this is a MediaPortal problem as we have strict rules about MDAPI and support. Usually that means you must be able to reproduce the problem with MDAPI completely disabled. Obviously that is not possible for you in this case but nevertheless I must follow our rules.

I have recorded the channel, please find a screenshot in the attachment. Using VLC, the video is displayed correctly. MP gives audio only.

Hi again

Please try the attached TsReader.ax:

1. Close MP.
2. Take a backup of the TsReader.ax in your MP install folder.
3. Download and extract the attached TsReader.ax into your MP install folder.
4. Start MP.
5. Attempt to play the sample you sent me (it works for me with a fix that I created).
6. Attempt to view the channel.

Hopefully the problem will be gone.

What are the reasons that so much important version of tsreader is not included in final version of MP?
Your version of tsreader will help me watch some recorder shows that I cannot play using MP. Thanks so much!

The fix is too risky, it has not been tested enough, and the problem doesn't seem to affect many people.

I have lots of fixes that didn't make it into 1.2.x yet. Other team members do too. Some may be added in time when they have been reviewed and tested...
