My PodCasts allows you to view RSS feeds and play them in MP. It includes search capability based on opml feeds. You can add new Poscast feeds from within the plugin or use setup to manage your RSS content feeds and opml search feeds.

Since My Torrents and My PodCasts share about 90% of their code I've decided to bundle them in a single dll. This will make it easier for me to update them and for you to get the latest versions. Note the new locations below.

    Setup

Use the setup to manage your podcast (rss) and search (opml) feeds. Copy and paste the url into the Xml Feed box and click on Add. The code will try to read the feed and pull out the title and image. Click on the item in the tree to edit it manually.

RSS feeds will be put under Content Feeds.
OPML feeds will go under Search Feeds.

great plugin. very similar to the mytorrents plugin, but more configurable and the opml support is great. i understand that there are several videocast in your screenshot. how did you get them wroking since most of them are in any mp4-related format (.mp4, .h264, n4whatever) wich can't be played by WMP

does it open a external application or do you have any links to working videocasts?

    Thanks fcsobel for your work.

Hope you can bring your rss/xml expertise to the News/RSS plugin. OPML is terribly needed there ;)

Thank you for this plugin. Works great, and it`s a lot of podcast`s out there :)

In azureus web-interface you can upload torrents.
Is it possible make my torrents use this feature?
Also, if you have a program that takes screenshots of azureus, would it be easy to show that picture in my torrents plugin?

    hey fcsobel.

atm, i'm working on a list of working Videopodcasts (vodcasts, vblogs or whatever they call it right now) working with your plugin (let's better say: working with Windows media player) and really found some. but few of these aren'T working whether the attemp to add them in configuration ends in a unhandled exceptio like this one:

or if you select one item of the feed instead of playing it throws you back to the feedselect-screen like these ones:

have you an idea why that's the fact? i will continue on my list of working casts anyway, but maybe that can be solved (-; ?

well... regarding to the second problem mentioned by me above: nearly all the casts i found resulted in that problem. maybe theres any problem that can be solved from the developers side  ...

    nevertheless, those are definitly working:

    http://rssnewsapps.ziffdavis.com/audioblogs/DLTV.wmv.xml
    http://feeds.pirillo.com/PonziAndPirilloWMV (some reality TV)
    http://www.microsoft.com/winme/MEDC/MEDCPodcast.xml (MEDC)
    http://shralp.com/rss/shralp_wmv.xml (Snowboard/skateboard etc
    http://www.ket.org/cgi-bin/rss.pl?pid=4 (kentucky news?)
    http://www.microsoft.com/winme/TechEd/TechEdPodcast.xml
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/AmigaDemoPodcast_DivX

as said, there are many more, but they won't work yet.

and feel free to proceed with some adding please. i found mine simply with google ("+video +podcast +wmvORdivx filetype:xml" or something like that) so it should not be difficult to find some more...

    playback

I could hard code .m4v files to run with QuickTimePlayer but the free player does not do fullscreen. It would be better to play it from within mp. I think adding a codec to windows media player would make it work but I dont know of a good .m4v or mp4 codec. Anyone know of a good one?
