    Here is my first HTPC build. It's quite old (about 2 years), but still valid and fast. The TV is quite new (see specs)…

    (on top there's a Logitech Webcam, on the bottom of tv there are the wii sensor bar and the Sony signal emitter for 3D glasses

    Nice setup and I like the DIY furniture a lot because of being so minimalistic and of course being self-made.

    It's a pity that the bending because of the weight was not considered; a simple tube or L-profile or even just a strip perpendicular on the sheet would have prevented that.

    Peter2: the furniture it's not bended, it's my camera wide angle lens that created the barrel effect (look at the TV, it's "bended" too) :)
    the furniture is much.... much heavier than what it's contained in it.

    :oops: luckily your tv is like that because of the camera lens. :D

    I was so focused on the furniture because I'm also looking for a clean, simple solution which I have not found yet in a store.
    Now I even see that the lines of your floor are not straight... ouf! Am happy for you that I see it wrong!

    Because of being open at the back, I thought that the weight of the amplifier and you HTPC was a little bit underestimated in the design.
    Where is the outer sheet welded, since it has all round edges?
