With a directory structure like this:

    Movietitle.720p.bdrip
    Movietitle.720p.bdrip.jpg
    Movietitle.720p.bdrip.mkv
    Movietitle.720p.bdrip.nfo
    Movietitle.720p.bdrip.srt

    Seriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV
    Seriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.jpg
    Seriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.mp4
    Seriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.nfo
    Seriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.srt

Would also be awesome if the folder can be deleted as well, but only if the name matches like above, so the plugin doesn't delete a folder called Movies in a directory structure like this:

    TV-Series
    Seriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.jpg
    Seriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.mp4
    Seriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.nfo
    Seriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.srt

    OtherSeriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.jpg
    OtherSeriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.mkv
    OtherSeriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.nfo
    OtherSeriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.srt

...meaning that if you delete OtherSeriesname.S01E01.x265.720p.HDTV.mkv, the whole TV-Series folder is purged - would be extremely bad. ;)

@emphatic. So your structure is to have a folder with same name as movie and episode, excluding the suffix. Is this correct?

If you use SubTitleDownloader in MediaPortal, it will name the .srt files after the video file like in my example. Same goes for NFO files if you use MovPicNFO. I never put much effort into organizing my files, I just use two root folders, "Movies" and "Series". Sometimes, I drop just the file in there, sometimes it has a folder with the same name. I'm lazy and just don't need them to be better organized, because MediaPortal's plugins do such stellar work importing them correctly besides that fact. ;)

So, the answer is "largely yes".

    Guys.
Not sure anyone has noticed or has the same issue, but the latest version 1.1.0.15 is deleting al my SRT files from movies and TV series.
If the SRT name is exactly like the filename (Band.Of.Brothers.S01E01.2001.BluRay.1080p.x264.DTS.srt), no problem, but when the language gets added to the name of the SRT (Band.Of.Brothers.S01E01.2001.BluRay.1080p.x264.DTS.nl.srt) it's gone!

EDIT: above was just the MKV section. Turns out that all DVD's have been stripped from their content. All that's left there are the BUP and IFO files...

That's really, really bad. I have noticed too that all my VIDEO_TS rips have been rendered incomplete and useless by having activated this plugin. As I have my videos on my NAS, meaning they are permanently deleted, it's a disaster. Luckily for me, it was Dora The Explorer rips, and my children are too old for them now.

@Emp, this was a change you requested ....

I requested .srt files to be added to file types to clean. Are you saying .srt files and .vob files are the same? And I even went into specifics with name matching:

movie name.mkv (if this is deleted, the below ones are too)
    movie name.srt
    movie name.nfo
    movie name.jpg

Your plugin is very aggressive in the cleaning, and frankly, it's dangerous to use it. I don't understand why it would delete the following files:

    movie name.mkv
    movie name.english.srt <---

just because it exists in the same folder as a movie file.

Please don't blame me for this.
