Well, it could be working for a lot more versions. The code changes done for MP-4427 didn't have much direct relation with my problem.
With older versions I was also changing the wrong file, so I'm fairly confident that this will work for older versions too (will test that ofcourse)

Just tested with MP 1.6, and there the onlinelocation is updated as expected.
So green lights for me to move the downloads to the pluginpage, and finally, finally see how many of you are using the plugin
