Hi to all,
our Supermoderator Spragleknas had an interesting idea for a new menu structure.
And as I´m always looking to enhance the PVHD skins I started skinning this new menu, which I call IntelliMenu
This menu consists of a small toolbar with 10 categories and the respective menu entries below.
The categories are TV, Video, Music, Pictures, Weather, Plugins, Settings, Internet, Games and Tools.
The new catagory Tools allows us to reference often used plugins which won´t fit into the other sections.
For the menus I used the order which turned out to be the most wanted order by users.
How does it function? By hovering over the buttons, the respective menu is shown. Pressing a button leads directly to the same item that is shown as first item in the menu, e.g. pressing the button for Video leads directly to MyVideos, pressing TV leads directly to My TV.
You may also scroll down and select an entry to access the respective Screen.
I think this is the most easiest and fastest menu you´ve ever experienced.
And finally the best of all: This menu structure does not need any extra dlls as before (ExtraMenu, GamesMenu and WatchMenu). Therefore your plugins section is a bit cleaner without these dlls . And there is even more: This menu is accessible via mouse, remote and touchscreen.
I also incorporated some new background GFX as well

Thanks Spragleknas and catavolt for this idea! The intention behind is clear and the idea sounds great! I only fear, that the buttons are a little bit too small for old men like you and me !

Well Helios, for me as an "old man" it´s well readable. Would be no problem to enhance the size, but maybe this would spoil the clean layout. Test it with the next release (maybe tomorrow ) and then we can discuss it further
