Hello All, I have a very strange issue with my HTPC setup that is slowly driving me insane. I hope that someone has some bright ideas as I am close to being divorced over negative WAF. I have 1 x Hauppauge HVR4K (88x) DVBS2 tuner and 1 x TBS 6985 Quad DVBS2 in my HTPC - Single Seat MePo Install ( 1.7.1) This is connected to a Sat Dish with Dual LNB and was connected to a 6 Way All Ports Power Pass Splitter and pointing at Optus D1. I've checked and LOF and Switch Freq and all matches AFAIK. Here is the rub. I cannot for the life of me get the TBS card to detect channels even though the signal seems fine. However the HVR seems to pick things up no problem. Also the STB also works without a prob. The TBS appears to see signal fine see screen shot #1(TBS-Fail) but detects zero channels. i.e displays 'Nothing Found' even when almost full signal. After suspecting the Splitter and cables, I ran the connection direct off the dish to Tuner A on the TBS card.. it found 5 channels on one transponder multiple scans found nothing ! Switch the connection to the HVR and ran the same scan... found all channels across all the Transponders on D1 So my question to those satellite boffins out there.... Is this a signal level sensitivity issue ? I just don't understand how the HVR can be that much different from the TBS ? Is there some way to pin point where the issue is ? FYI, the TBS card has been replaced as suspected it was faulty... but getting the same results with the new card. Thanks in advance. Cheers. G/
