Hello all,

1. Players like Media Player Classic display .srt subtitles if they are named like video file. Can this be done in Media Portal?

2. After installing 1.6.0 watched videos don't change color to yellow. Should they?

3. IPTV - my provider gives m3u list, it is perfectly watched in VLC and iptv-player by borpas.info. I add this m3u to TV Server configurator, it finds all channels - but preview hangs, watching also. Should not everything work from the box?

Yes, no problem!

MyVideos or any plugin? They should I think but you can set a certain time (%) after that they are marked as watched.

Should work. I guess we need logs for that. Mabey a firewall issue, maybe a codec issue.....

Note that TV Server only supports streams using the MPEG 2 transport stream container. Some IPTV providers don't use that format => not supported.

Ok, I found dropdown "Autoload subtitles", will check and write back.

MyVideos. Settings are as in your screenshot, I guess kept from 1.2.0 where everything worked perfect. And in 1.6.0 in film's details I also notice circle with views count - which increases correctly. But names are still of the same color. Do I miss something?

Should I turn on one of 3 disabled cards? Or provide total logs?

Also please notice that I have "unsupported" XP SP3.

I am no TVServer expert but have you mapped your channels to the IPTV card?

Your link says "Mappings are automatically created when you scan for channels but it can be useful at times to do manual mappings."
I've checked - all channels are mapped to the only card present - "1 - MediaPortal IPTV Source Filter".

Sorry for this - now I see that colors are almost the same, light blue and white. I just was expecting yellow as before.

TV Server has detected that the channel is encrypted and that it has no way to decrypt the channel.

Is the channel encrypted?

And previewing says "Preview failed:AllCardsBusy" even after restart.

The error message isn't very helpful. What it should say is that there are no cards capable of tuning the channel. Basically, there is no DVB-IP/IPTV tuner which is capable of decrypting.

Well. I don't have cam module in computer. I don't have DVB-C support in computer. As I've written in the start message - I have URL of provider's m3u file - which I add to VLC player or iptv-player by borpas.info - and they show perfectly. If they decode it - why MediaPortal does not?

Then you should change it, I guess. But again - 2 other programs "decrypt" just fine, with only entering provider's URL http://telenettv.ru/iptv.m3u. If it won't open for you - please give some free URL which will open at all computers - and I will test it.

Okay. Some people access encrypted DVB-IP channels using a software CAM (softC*M). I had to ask the question because I wasn't sure if you were also intending to do this.

Why? As I already explained: MediaPortal detects that the channel is encrypted. From what you've said it sounds like MediaPortal is wrong. Without further information - full log files and probably a sample recording - I can't tell why MediaPortal thinks the channel is encrypted.

Yes, I'm not saying the MediaPortal is right - just explaining the cause.
