TV scrambled error - reboot fixes the problem (1 Viewer)

    Start MP, try to watch a channel, error message pops up. Reboot fixed the problem.

    ...so then a description of how the problem was solved would also be useful. Otherwise this thread isn't very meaningful.
    Fixed, that was in the title already.
    I should have tried restarting TV service really but went for a reboot instead :)

    I do have the same problem - same hardware (DD-CI, Deltacam) as Stephane. Fortunately it happens very, very rarely but because of this it is difficult to identify any pattern. Maybe related to initialization issues of the CI/DD card after the server resuming from standby.

    In any case I do not believe that it is related to MediaPortal as restarting the server is not resolving the problem, nor is removing and reinserting the CAM.

    The other day it was not working again and installing a new version of MP fixed it so I'm thinking restarting the TV service did the trick in that case. Hard to tell could have been another issue too.

    It's not sleep related for me as I just turn off the PC rather than put it to sleep.
