    Nice! Sounds like you figured out a bunch of stuff. What can I do to help with next steps?
    It will be great if you test attached filter. It is not fixed version, but with very short timeout (1500 milliseconds). I set the timeout value based on your and @Sebastiii logs, so it should be sufficient for opening and maintaining connection. You should experience dropouts or stuttering when your server sends text "i'm not dead yet", but not such long freeze. In any case, it will be great if you post logs after test.

    @georgius

    I tested v3 and the freeze happened again between 30-60 seconds after playback start. It did not recover. I tested twice. On the first test, I left playback frozen on the same frame for almost 4-5 minutes before manually pressing stop. The second test did the same thing, but I did not let the freeze go as long. Just did this to get another datapoint.

    Logs attached.

    If possible, do same test, but before it remove or delete MPUrlSourceSplitter_Parser_MPEG2TS.dll file from filter folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\MPUrlSourceSplitter).

    @Sigpi007 , no need to test, I found the problem on another place.

    Build 2.1.4.5454 worked great. No issue so far. Thanks for your work on this @georgius. Let me know if you ever need me to test this or anything else relevant to my networked cablecard tuner setup. I'll keep this dev system running just for such requests.

    Thanks, but my work is done, so there is no need for dev system.
