    I haven't fired up MP today yet I notice that TV server seems to have started by itself this evening.
    How can that be? :confused:

    Ughh, TVServer runs permanently here as its a service, so not sure what your problem is.

    Do you mean it turned htpc "ON" for no reason.

    No, the htpc was on.

    I had deleted all the logs earlier in the day and at around 6pm new logs were created and there is activity in tv server even though I had not started MP.

    Like Ray said, if the PC is on then the TV Server will run in the background as a service. Normal behaviour to ensure you do not miss any recordings and to enable other clients (if any) to use it.
