TV service crashed when a recorded program ends (1 Viewer)

If I watch a recorded tv program and let the recording go all the way to the end, it seems that tv service crashes when the program ends. MP does return to the screen on which the list of recorded shows in shown. However the actual list of programs is never shown, and restarting MP does not help as TV service has crashed.
