    For a while now I've been 'irked' that I couldn't get Classic FM when I tune in to Astra 28E. I know it is there, my TV tunes it in.

    Finally I found out why.

    The Tuning parameters are incorrect (this took a bit of digging - thank heavens for Google and LyngSat). I actually edited the radio station itself!

    Classic FM (and others) moved to 11585, 22000, H, FEC 56 which isn't in the XML file.

    This is a clean install of 1.10 and I am sure I updated the satellite listing, so how/who should be updating these?

    Maybe no one is looking after them, it would certainly be a thankless task!

    I wonder if it is possible to make MP do blind scans or if that would cause problems.

    We get satellite transponder data straight from FastSatFinder. They're generally very good at what they do, and certainly makes our lives a lot simpler. :)

    I just clicked "update satellite list", and that transponder is definitely in the list:
    <Transponder>
    <CarrierFrequency>11585000</CarrierFrequency>
    <Polarisation>LinearH</Polarisation>
    <SymbolRate>22000</SymbolRate>
    <Modulation>ModNotSet</Modulation>
    <InnerFecRate>Rate5_6</InnerFecRate>
    <Pilot>NotSet</Pilot>
    <Rolloff>NotSet</Rolloff>
    </Transponder>

    So, not sure how your transponder lists wouldn't include it...

    First stiffing fast reply and it makes sense!

    Thank you.

    Secondly I was sure I had updated but I will try it [again?] but certainly in the previous incarnations 1.8, 1.9 definitely did update but never got Classic FM.

    Still overall, great answer, great response - I expect nothing less from MediaPortal lunatics (like me).

    Told you it was a thankless task too <grin>.
