//Single Seat TV Server Installation
On a recent channel scan a few channels I know are FTA came up flagged as encrypted on DVB-S. This didn't seem to be a problem in the TV server interface as I was still able to view them using the preview button.
However once entering MyTV in the main Media Portal interface, if I am currently viewing a DVB-S channel and try to change to one of those channels that is flagged as encrypted but isn't, Media Portal tells me there aren't any cards free to view the channel.
eg. If I'm watching "ChartShow TV" (FTA)
then try and change to "Scuzz" (Flagged as encrypted but FTA)
I get the message "Cannot tune channel, no cards free. Tune to previous Ch? Yes/No" and Media portal reverts back the the previous channel, ie "ChartShow TV" and then message looses focus so I cannot get rid of it until I restart MP! I Tested with BlueTwo Skin also to check it wasn't an Indigo issue.
However if I'm watching a DVB-T channel, e.g "Dave" then try to tune straight to "Scuzz" it works perfectly.
Sorry if I haven't been very clear, if you need any more information I'd be happy to provide it.
