Good idea! MediaPortal should have a "passive mode" (kind of like WMP10 in the minimize to tray - where you can watch it over your what you're doing while working).
This would be cool! Maybe someone can think of a great way to do it without computer work and tv being affected - multitasking... taking the tasbar off is one step...
MP's main function is as an HTPC so adding features like this (which some people may appreciate), is actually going the opposite way from the HTPC mindset.
If anyone ever experiences the above, I found a fix. Removing and reinstalling MP-TVSeries fixed it. It must have gotten corrupted during the reinstall of MP. I also had to do the same with TRAKT which had some issues too that were not apparent at the time. All is well once again. :cool:

After much trial and error and comparing this computer with another that was working, I finally found out that Fanarthandler...
MP2 uses the same TV engine as MP1, so it must work also with MP2, you just need to select TVE3 and not TVE3.5 in the installer. MP2 also supports a 3rd TV engine TVMosaic, but this is configured web-based and I can not tell you, if this works with your hardware.

My computer is running Windows 10 Pro. I have installed MP2. Not sure what version.
I have a Hauppauge WinTV 1850 TV card...
It works perfect now. All channels have been found, even with the default tuning files.
