    Hi,
I have problem with Prof8000 DVBS card with Mediaportal 1.5.0 RC1 under Windows8 professional:
    I use new Prof8000_Driver_2.0.0.5_W8
when I try to scan programs with Mediaportal TV server, it has signal and good quality - searching programs but nothing found..
With all old Prof8000 drivers for Windows7 - the same.
The second TV card DVBT Compro works fine and I can watch TV channels.

When I use this card with those drivers and Mediaportal / Windows7 operating system both cards works fine.

    What can I do?

    Hi Pigwoz,
I have the same problem, not only in MediaPortal, I try ProgDVB, DVBDream and SmartDVB but they had this problem too.
It seems that the problem related to prof 8000 and windows driver...

    Hi mm1352000,
Thanks for your support, I changed network provider to DVBS and it not works for me.
For DVBDream we can download Module from http://www.proftuners.com/download.html.
I checked it and it works, (if the video not shown, change Video Render).
I hope anyone find a solution for MediaPortal...

Ahhhh, I think I see the problem! :)

Why is there a DVB-T component installed for a DVB-S2 tuner?
    From your earlier logs:
    [2013-09-26 18:59:23,731] [Log ] [13 ] [INFO ] - dvb: -Prof 8000 DVBT AVStream TS Capture
    [2013-09-26 18:59:23,747] [Log ] [13 ] [INFO ] - dvb: -Prof 8000 DVBS/S2 AVStream TS Capture

So we can see there are two capture filters installed/registered by the driver. The correct one to use is the second one... but in my opinion there should only be one. To me this looks like a bug in Prof's driver.

Can you please provide a link to the exact driver that you are using.
    Thanks. :)
